The Hong Kong office was opened by KOA in 1988, and entered into a joint venture with a local developer to form Allied Kajima Ltd., which has been engaged in the development of office buildings, hotels, and residential properties. The company owns and operates the Allied Kajima office building in Wan Chai and the Novotel Century Hotel. Renovation of the Novotel Century Hotel’s lobby and all of its guest rooms was completed in 2007.
