Vietnam has burst onto the international scene in recent years as a promising new emerging market. Since it first established a presence in Vietnam in 1994, KOA has focused mainly on building factories and office buildings for Japanese-affiliated companies via its offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. KOA took charge of the construction activities of Kajima’s International Division, which won orders to work on the new terminal at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City (completed in 2007). The terminal includes a spacious four-floor passenger building, eight boarding gates, and a lounge, and stands as a symbol of Vietnam’s modernization. |
