In the early years after its founding in 1989, Kajima (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. focused primarily on building production facilities for Japanese-affiliated manufacturers, mainly electronics makers. In addition to contributing to the modernization of Malaysia, the company also won high praise as a top builder of factories. More recently, the company has gotten involved in a more diverse range of activities, building up a strong track record constructing major shopping centers on an accelerated schedule. In addition, the company just this year became the first foreign general contractor in Malaysia to obtain OSHAS 18001 certification for occupational safety and health, which has contributed to the relationship of trust that it enjoys with leading international corporations. |
