THE ART WORK OF ANITA GRAFFMAN
- FIRST FROST, walking on an autumn morning I saw these colours in the grass, the blue of the sky mirrored in the ice. H 300, W 225cm (handknotted carpet).
- FREJA, the daughter of Njord and twin sister of Frej. Above all she is the goddess of fertility, but she is also the patron of love, war and death. She is "Gefn", the giver and "Harn", the goddess of flax- growing. Freja protects the children and their mothers. H 250, W 140cm (tapestry).
- TOKYO, warn red colours I thought of when planning my exhibition in Tokyo. H 285, W 225cm (handknotted carpet).
- THUNDER, homage to the God of thunder. H 230, W 170cm (tapestry).
- BETTINA, a name from the art deco period.
H 270, W 180cm (handknotted carpet).
- FIRE, like water and thunder one of natures strong powers.
H 215, W 160cm (tapestry).
- PUZZLE, 14 small handknotted carpets (60 x 60 cm, to sit on) that can be combined into larger units of different patterns by velcro ribbon.
- UNIVERSE, a man holding the universe in his arms. Inspired by an ancient rockcarving. H285, W 195cm (handknotted carpet).
- BLUE NATURE, landscape in the blue colour of dusk. H 270, W 185cm (handknotted carpet).
- MATTIAS, geometric light coloured handnotted carpet. H 265, W 250cm.
- RANNIL, small waterfall next to an enormous one. H 170, W 140cm (tapestry).
- JERUSALEM, memory of old temples. H 150, W 150cm (tapestry in two parts).
